Lane Press Installs Belly-Bander
In our bindery, we are currently installing a belly-bander that will make it faster and more cost-effective for Lane Press to apply belly bands to your publications.

Undoubtably, you are familiar with a belly band—a paper wrapper attached around a magazine or catalog like a belt. These are typically used as an advertising placement or to communicate an important message from the publisher.

In the past, Lane Press would affix belly bands to publications manually. As you can imagine, this method is time-consuming and therefore relatively expensive.

The addition of this belly-bander to our bindery means that the process of affixing belly bands is now an automated process (also referred to as “machineable”). Our customers can now have their publications belly-banded at our facility in less time and for a more competitive price.

If you are interested in utilizing belly bands on any of your publications, please contact your Customer Service Representative. He or she can provide you with a price quote as well as more information.
