| Call for Entries: CPC Pearl Awards |
|
The Custom Publishing Council (CPC) is now accepting entries for the 6th Annual Pearl Awards competition, which honors excellence in custom publishing across multiple platforms. Categories celebrate the best in editorial, design, and strategy—in both print and digital publishing.
All publications, whether print or digital, must have been produced between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009. To enter, download an entry form on the CPC website. Entries will be judged in October 2009 by a panel of marketing executives, academics, journalists, designers, corporate strategists, and publishers in three locations across the U.S. Finalists will be notified in late October 2009, but official designation of Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners will not be announced until the award ceremony on November 12, when Pearl Awards will be distributed to winners. All custom publishing companies are eligible to participate, including independent custom publishers, divisions of larger publishing houses, advertising agencies, and other media conglomerates, whether or not they are members of CPC. Corporate marketing departments are not eligible to enter, although they may advise outside companies providing custom publishing services for them to enter on their behalf.
