| USPS: Obtaining Postage Statements through PostalOne |
|
The USPS recently discontinued the practice of sending stamped postage statements to permit holders after each mailing. However, you can now access these statements online.
Many mailers relied on stamped postage statements for verification and final postage cost of their mailings. Although these statements are no longer mailed by the USPS, permit holders can access and print un-stamped, final postage statements (3600, 3602, or 3541 forms) online by signing up for a PostalOne! Account. This is one of the many benefits of having a PostalOne! account. The USPS’s PostalOne! system is a suite of online postal services mailers can use to streamline mail entry, payment, tracking, and reporting. Using PostalOne!, customers can view individual postage statements, see an overview of the containers within a mailing, submit forms electronically, automate postage payment processing (requires a CAPS account ), and review metrics for files transferred. Signing up for a PostalOne! Account To sign up for a PostalOne! Account, start by filling out an online application . The PostalOne! Customer Care Center will process your initial application and send a Welcome Kit to the email address you provide. The Welcome Kit contains several additional forms requiring your signature, including a user agreement, site administrator designation form, request for web access, and an optional CAPS account application. Once you mail these signed forms to the PostalOne! Customer Care Center and your application has been processed, the USPS will send your site administrator an email message with a username and password for your new account.
