In the bindery at Lane Press, we continue to integrate tools and technology that allow us to improve efficiency while maintaining premium quality. Most recently, we installed four new hopper loaders on our 20-pocket saddle stitcher.

Hopper loaders are conveyors that run your magazine signatures up to and into the binder’s pockets. These loaders automate the otherwise manual work of hand-feeding signatures into these pockets. With consistent, automated feeding, the binder is able to sustain higher running speeds for longer periods of time, better enabling us to keep production schedules on track and lower unit costs, objectives that ultimately benefit our customers.

The perfect binders in our bindery are already equipped with hopper loaders.
