Environmental Policy

Lane Press operates out of a large, modern facility that houses administrative, production, printing, and distribution resources under one roof. Our setting has breathtaking views of Vermont’s Green Mountains and reflects the environmentally friendly approach we take in our operations. It is our practice to reduce waste, recycle material used in manufacturing, adhere to strict environmental standards, select vendors based on their environmental practices, and emphasize reuse and conservation of resources at every step in the production process. See our Environmental Policy.

 

 

Our staff of skilled employees, many with more than 40 years of experience, oversee the production of your magazine ensuring quality every step of the way. Our manufacturing capabilities include a fully automated digital prepress operation with soft proofing, asset management, and ad processing services. Our press room is equipped with web presses configured to the needs of short- to medium-run publications. We recently purchased a MAN Roland 16 pp, 4-unit web press and a Heidelberg M90 1/2-web press, significantly increasing plant capacity. The finishing department provides the latest binding and marketing features magazines require. And when the magazine is ready to go, Lane Press manages your distribution in house and delivers the creative options of getting your magazine into the hands of your readers.
